  • This 102 mile ride begins at the intersection of RT 202 and 20, which is located just outside Granby, Connecticut. It ends in Canaan, Connecticut.
  • Enjoy a beautiful loop that offers gorgeous views of the Appalachian trail.
  • Beginner riders should note that some of the roads are steep, twisting, and not in the best shape.

Points of Interest

  • There are plenty of great places to stop throughout the ride, including museums, state parks, towns, and antique shops.
  • Many riders turn this ride into a weekend trip. Just be sure to book your lodging in advance since the area is popular, especially in the fall.

The Northern Connecticut Border Run

About the Motorcycle Ride

  • This 35 mile route begins and ends at the intersection of Rt 169 and 190 in North Woodstock, Connecticut
  • Take in gorgeous scenery through forests and farmland. The views are spectacular in the fall when the leaves change colors.
  • Roads tend to be quiet since most of the route is country back roads with limited traffic.

Points of Interest

  • The route focuses on scenic views, rather than attractions. Pomfret and Stafford Springs are your best bet for grabbing a meal.
  • Many motorcycle enthusiasts stop by the Vanilla Bean Cafe in Pomfret, which offers great food and outdoor seating.
